Ben was the R&D manager when I went to work at Rowell Labs in 1963, and I always liked him but kind of feared him too, because he was just so smart! I left Baudette after three years at Rowell and then returned to Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1975 and was surprised and pleased when Ben offered me a job in Baudette. Of course I jumped at that opportunity. This time I didn't fear Ben at all -- just loved working with this kind and gentle man and missed him greatly when he moved to Marietta.
