Dear Ben - Friday was my birthday, as you know. Last year, you were there to celebrate with us. The picture of you and I from that day is still one of my favorites! We were talking about how it didn't feel right without you there. I knew you were there though. I just felt you there. We speak of you frequently, bringing up the 'remember the time...' and 'if Ben were here, he'd be...' stories. Sometimes I forget that I can't just send you an email... and then I remember...
